…Cuts Cake to Celebrate Tinubu at 74
The Arise with Renewed Hope Initiative on Sunday, furthered its mobilisation drive to the Federal Capital Territory, with the inauguration of executives, and Advisory Council for Abuja and the 19 Northern States.
The group has also celebrated President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, cutting a cake in his honour.
The colourful ceremony, held at the Akwa Ibom House, Abuja drew a large crowd of party faithful, stakeholders, and residents, creating a carnival-like atmosphere as members of the group’s international executive were warmly received by enthusiastic supporters.
Addressing the gathering, the President-General of the initiative, Engr. Uwem Okoko, commended Akwa Ibom Community in Abuja and the 19 Northern States for embracing the movement.
He noted that the group is a vehicle that will drive all APC candidates to office come 2027
According to him, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed creditably well, the Senate President has made Akwa Ibom people proud, and Pastor Umo Eno has delivered beyond his campaign promises.
To this end, he urged residents to strengthen grassroots mobilisation in support of their re-election.
In his speech, the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, commended Akwa Ibom indigenes in Abuja for their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, and Govemor Umo Eno, noting that they have performed well.
He highlighted Governor Eno’s achievements, saying that since assuming office, Akwa Ibom has witnessed continuous project commissioning, with more underway, and added that another commissioning will soon take place in Abuja.
At the event, the chapter coordinating committee was formally inaugurated, with Comrade Tommy Etim Okon PhD, as Chairman, while Comrade Kingsley Iwok emerged as Co-chairman,Prince Godswill Monday Etian as the Coordinator, and Hon. Mmemaobong Ekukinan as Deputy Coordinator.
Other members of the committee include, Barr Remigius Edebianga (Secretary), Princess Nkoyo Essien, Women Leader, Comrade Godswill Ndifreke, Youth Leader, Anne Hyacinth Okon Treasurer, and Francis Udo Akpan Publicity Secretary
Also inaugurated was the Advisory Council of the movement, chaired by Sir Emmanuel Umoh, PhD. Other members include Mkpisong (Barr) Gabriel Fan , Amb. (Mrs) Joy Gabriel Fan , Mr Raymond Abia , Mrs Emmanuella Etete Ita , Mr Inemesit Uwah , ACG Alloy Umoh , Chief (Engr) Ben Ukpong fnse, Bar. Aniefiok Ibah, Mrs. Dame Maria Orok among others.
In his acceptance speech,the chairman of Arise with Renewed hope initiative, Abuja Chapter Akparawa Tommy Etim Okon Ph.D expressed appreciation to the international leadership of the initiative for the confidence reposed in him and his team, pledging to work collaboratively to secure electoral victories for the trio of Tinubu, Eno, and Akpabio
He described the trio of the president of President Tinubu, Senator Akpabio’, and Governor Eno as the 3 wise men that Nigeria needs now noting that they’ll work collectively to deliver and return them back in 2027.
Setting the tone for the movement’s mission, the International Coordinator, Sir Udo Kierian Akpan, described the initiative as a strategic platform for grassroots mobilisation, noting that it enjoys the backing of key political leaders, including President Tinubu, Senator Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno as Grand Patron.
He added that beyond supporting the re-election of Tinubu, Eno, and Akpabio, the initiative would also galvanise support for candidates of the All Progressives Congress for other elective positions.
He urged them to return to their various local government areas so they could vote for these leaders who have performed well, advising them to transfer their voter cards back to their respective local government areas, noting that this would enable them to vote for the, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno.
In his goodwill message, the President of the Akwa Ibom Community, Abuja Chapter, Mkpisong Barrister Gabriel Fan, said the President has performed well, the Senate President has made Akwa Ibom people proud, and the Governor of the state, Pastor Umo Eno, has delivered numerous projects for the people of Akwa Ibom.
He added that the community will support and deliver them again in 2027.
Other Goodwill messages were delivered by Chief Dr. Benedict Ukpong, Barr. George Enyiekpon, Chairman of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Abuja Chapter, Chairman of Ati Annang Abuja Chapter, Dede Francis Ibah, Princess Nkoyo Essien, among other stakeholders who assured of the readiness of the Abuja Chapter to deliver bloc votes for the APC in the forthcoming election.
